The Township of Douro-Dummer Council is pleased to announce the appointment of Martina Chait–Hartwig to the position of temporary Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the Township.  Martina has been an employee at the Township of Douro-Dummer since 2011 and currently holds the position of Deputy Clerk. 

Martina has a strong administrative background, sound knowledge of the various policies, procedures and legislation related to municipal governance as well as experience in providing leadership and coaching to employees.

Martina has worked with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally and has excellent relationship building skills. She is the current Vice-Chair of the AMCTO Legislative and Policy Advisory Committee and values transparency, integrity and professionalism.

She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trent University, has completed the AMCTO Municipal Administration Program and has received a diploma in Municipal Administration from AMCTO.

Martina will begin her role as the temporary CAO with the Township of Douro-Dummer on January 2, 2020.
