The 2018 Benefit Release (pdf – 208KB) will be held on Wednesday, August 1st with the gates to the Lions Park opening at 3pm. Rain dates if needed, will be on succeeding Wednesday nights.
This year, all proceeds will be divided between The Mollohan Family and the Meade Family.
Roxanne Mollohan has been battling Leukemia for the past number of months and has caused a challenge for the family travelling and living in Kingston during her treatment.
The Meade Family have been hugely affected by a tragic motor vehicle accident in December of 2017 on Highway Seven. Eight year old Madison is now confined to a wheelchair.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the entire community to lend a helping hand to two families who are going through a very difficult time.
The evening features prize draws & raffles, great food on the BBQ, music and live entertainment by Victoria Pearce and her Patsy Cline Show.
Last year saw a huge turnout of classic cars and people who generated more than $38,000 for Chad Pearson.
Cash and Prize donations are gratefully received. If you or your business can help in anyway, please contact the Douro-Dummer Township office at 705-652-8392 or Elsie Tedford at 705-652-8348.
