A burning permit is required if you're planning to have a fire that's larger than 2 cubic meters (six square feet).
Burning permits can be obtained, at no cost, at the Municipal Office, Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Burning permits cannot be obtained over the phone.
In the event of a Burning ban, no burning is permitted.
Once a Burning Ban has been issued signs will be posted at major intersections and local media will be advised.
Even though you have a permit you cannot burn during a Burning Ban.
